“First of all, I love the heart shape of this tea - it’s so unique and you don’t even have to measure out your tea leaves! I definitely recommend using a larger tea basket to steep the leaves so they have room to unfurl properly. The flavor is on point - earthy (as pu-erh should be) with a hint of vanilla and rose. I’ll definitely reorder this one!”
“I brewed a single heart 3 times and I think it could be brewed even more. It makes a lovely dark tea which I love. I usually add a little half and half to my hot teas and this was wonderful with it. This is definitely a favorite!”
“I was so excited to try this - and I love the cute hearts. But alas I must say that the flavor was a bit strong for me (and I've tried less steep, more water, 3rd plunge). Perhaps it is the pu'erh in it - I'm just not sure. It was fun to try, but not one I'll repeat (but is fun to share!).”
“I had to find a good way to brew these but once I found a pot with a built in strainer I was good to go. Because you drop these straight into the water, the leaves have all the room they want/need to release the beautiful flavor. Because it is much more Rose that vanilla, it feels like a very luxurious sophisticated tea. I do find this is one that is very sensitive to oversteeping so be mindful and pay attention to steeping times (PD makes it easy by adding suggested steeping times on the bag!)”
“This has the most delicate rose flavor. But also the deep richness off the vanilla and aged tea is delightful. I can’t wait to get more of these. I hugely recommend these.”
