“Very enjoyable aroma and flavor. On the second steep, more of the rose and vanilla emerged to pleasant effect. Definitely don't toss those leaves until you've gone around at least twice with them, and depending on time, temperature and volume, you can get up to three steeps. Quite a tasty tea. I had originally intended to gift them, but then I tried one and decided I was going to be greedy and drink them all myself. ;)”
“The smell of these is FANTASTIC. It smells floral with a hint of vanilla underneath.
The taste is fabulous. I like to to brew them in a gaiwan, starting with about twenty seconds and adding about ten every successive steeping. The flavor holds over many re-steeps. Even at the end, I can taste floral notes with a slightly sweet aftertaste.
These would be a fantastic introduction to pu’erh.
And they’re so gosh darn cute.”
“A light and earthy tea. The heart shape is perfect to plop in my water and watch it open to become a beautiful mix of flavors. Honey and a dash of cream makes this tea a delightful afternoon drink with a hot cinnamon roll.”
“Tasty tea! Cute shape and easy to use, just throw one heart in a strainer and use for multiple steeps. Very rose forward flavor in the initial couple of cups. I've had pu'erh before from another company, and didn't really love the flavor that much (too earthy). This tea is delicious and nothing like that other stuff. I tried in on the recommendation of other members in the tea club, and I'm so glad I did!”
“Absolutely love the ease and conveniently measured portion, and the heart shape is just adorable for Valentines or any day you want to express your appreciation for someone. And of course, the flavoring is superb. Highly recommended.”
“The hearts are adorable! I just put the heart in a loose leaf teabag and put in my pot of tea, it was so easy! It is definitely a delicious dark tea, it reminds me of a nice black tea. It goes nicely with chocolates or a rich dessert.”
“I had never tried these hearts before (or any Pu'erh for that matter), so I gave it a shot. The taste of the tea was lovely - just right. I wasn't prepared for the heart falling apart into individual leaves and flowers, however. As I said, I'd never tried this before. Next cup I'll use the tea strainer in the pot and place the heart in there first.”
