Red Velvet Chocolate Puerh Dessert Tea Reviews

4.7 Rating 58 Reviews
It's quite good. I just have an issue with calling something red velvet and only adding cocoa. Although cocoa is what makes up a red velvet cake, I would have thoroughly enjoyed this tea if it had an extra ingredient that included a hint of cream cheese or even vanilla flavor to put you in the mind of frosting. That would have been the icing in the tea.

I have been trying various chocolate dessert teas and the Red Velvet Chocolate Puerh Dessert Tea is by far the best. It really has a chocolate flavor.

I'm going to have to change my mind about pu'er - at least the Plum Deluxe Pu'er's. I thought I didn't really like pu'er tea and then I tasted this one. Wow! It is deliciousness in a cup! Very smooth tea with just a hint of cocoa. I'll be buying a pound of this! (The Raspberry Cocoa Truffle Pu'er is also amazing!)

What? This tea tastes like red velvet cake! Needless to say I love this tea. Full bodied, stick to your tummy, and chocolatey good. I must say I OVER round my teaspoon, steep three minutes in almost full boing water, and sweeten with vanilla sugar. Cake for breakfast…Decadent.

The magic is in how much it tastes like the cake. It's basically sorcery. Smooth, chocolatey, even a bit red in color - this is a tea that takes especially well to sugar and a splash of cream (or vanilla almond milk, my personal favorite). Pu'erh is sometimes a bit iffy for me, but this one is delicious.
