“Love my NX9 rangefinder. What I like most is the quick distance response and the magnetic connection I use on the golf cart. This is the best rangefinder on the market for the price.”
“This is only my second rangfinder. NX7 PRO was my first. I have become a fast fan. I enjoy the accurate information I get from this piece of equipment. Worth the investment.”
“The older model NX7 took a little time to lock onto the target, otherwise it was great. Now, this NX9HD locks on almost instantaneously, and the picture is very clear. Everything about this rangefinder is exactly what I wanted!”
“I replaced my Bushnell Tour Z6 rangefinder with the new NX9 HD Slope rangefinder because I my Z6 did not have the slope feature. The NX9 HD is lightweight, accurate and has a very bright viewfinder, which makes sighting pins very easy, and it has a very attractive and sturdy case for when not in use. Lastly, the ordering and shipping process were very smooth, and the product team was even willing to help ship my rangefinder to a FedEx drop off location so that I could it's release date delivery lined-up with my business trip that week!
Although I am giving the NX9 HD a well-deserved 5-star rating, I do have the following observations.
1. The Mode button on top of the rangefinder is very sensitive and it is easy to mistakenly and unknowingly change from yards to meters, or from standard to slope mode. You can avoid this from occurring by trying to not touch the range button, however, I now check the mode settings each time that I measure a pin distance to make sure that I have it right.
2. On a slightly foggy day recently, I was unable to get a pin distance on the first hole of the course I was playing after multiple attempts when out approximately 100 yards; I kept getting a reading of 18 yards. The problem cleared up on the subsequent hole so I wrote it off as an anomaly.”
“Great device. 7X magnification is as good as it gets.
Love, love, LOVE the magnetic case which allows me to ditch the crappy magnetic strap needed for other cases.
Big Downside: The separate button on the top to toggle between slope and non-slope measurement is WAY TOO EASY to activate when handling. There are just too many times I have to reset this feature during a normal round. It would be helpful if this button was recessed or moved to a different location (not so close to the targeting button).
Other than the above, the only other feature that would make this rangefinder perfect would be to have the reticles display in RED rather than black. In black, and in lower light conditions (lower light conditions), the rangefinder can be harder to read that other rangefinders that display in red.
For the price, this is a very good rangefinder.”
“Love it. Very accurate and easy to use. The only problem I have found is the placement of the “mode” button on top. It is easy if you’re not careful to change the distance from yards to meters.”
