“Well I purchased a NX9 HD thinking it would be better than the NX7 but it was not. I could not tell any difference in the 6x verses the 7x mag on the units. The NX9 has the mode button and the range button closer together and that creates a problem knowing which button you are pushing. The mode button is too touchy it changes the slope and yards when you just breath on it and each time you pick it up then you have to go through the process of resetting everything before you can get a yardage. The yardage button is also to touchy and needs to be changed. The only new thing I liked about the NX9 over the NX7 is the magnetic deal on the side even if it is on the right side of the unit and it needs to be on the left side for the driver of the golf cart.”
“This is not a review yet. My wife gave this to me for Christmas and I have not had a chance to try it out. In looking it over and setting it up in my yard I think it is going to work out very well shortly when I get on the course. Which will probably be in 2 to 3 weeks. I would be happy to write a review at that time.”
“Used for the first time, on Pebble Beach, and had several instances where it gave a reading of 18 yards when it was more like 150-180. It may have been because I was facing towards (but NOT into) the sun. And the conditions weren't clear blue skies, so this issue is even more troubling. This made me revert to my Bushnell GPS device.
So I was playing one of the most iconic courses in the world and I couldn't fully rely on the rangefinder...not good!”
“Have not had a chance to actually use Precision Pro as of yet. Weather in Western PA not conducive to playing. Contact me next Spring. excited to use it.”
“love this range finder. very accurate and the magnet on the side work great, not always digging to find it, itis right there on the windshield frame 5 stars”
