“Recently my Garmin G60 bit the dust. I started reading reviews on various rangefinders to get an understanding of the features I wanted and the prices. I definitely wanted Slope and a dioptic ring to make the picture clearer.
I picked Precision Pro for the combination of price and features. When I looked at the check boxes on the website it checked all my boxes too. The distance is so precise I can dial in my irons perfectly. By adding the slope I can use the distance number I feel is closest for my game, especially when in-between clubs.
The magnetic strip will hold the unit securely even on really bumpy terrain.
I really wanted the R1 but it wasn't available. This is a great substitute until they are. Maybe by that time this one may grow on me and I won't get the R1. Only time will tell.
