Fabric Protector Multi-job Pack Reviews

Did two separate rounds of treatments to the T, gave both rounds over 24hrs & nothing, both times it absorbed instantly the water did not beed off. Multiple days after the above review, tried testing it again, first test absorbed instantly but the next 2 beaded off. Zero clue if I tested it again if it would work, no clue if it will keep from staining. I don't trust it & I haven't felt comfortable to removed the covers, not trying to find out the hard way. The company asked me to do a update since the last 2 test beaded up. They also said their product does not work on all materials & that doing parts of a 4 seater couch would require the entire 5 Lt Ball & that the 5L bottle wouldnt be for multiple treatments as they previously stated. I will be going back to Scotch Guard, when I get the money to do so, I don't have the stomach to drop more money on protection for this couch after how much I littlerally just dropped on it for ProtectMe. I bought it for peace of mind & with the understanding that I would have enough for 2 separate treatments.

Hello Samantha, I am sorry to hear that you haven't been happy with how protectME has performed and we do offer a 100% money-back guarantee, but can I ask you a few questions? Can I ask what material your couch is and how many seaters it is? How much product did you use? How many coats did you apply? Did you treat the whole couch? (Back, sides, both sides of the backing cushions and both sides of the seated cushions?) Do you have a photo you can share? We usually recommend applying 100ml of protectME per m2 of fabric for most fabrics per coat. Please note that some fabrics will require a second coat — usually thicker/more absorbent fabrics such as rugs, linen, cotton, or loose weave fabrics. This second coat can be applied within 30 mins from the first with another 100ml per M2. Based on this ratio, our 750ml bottle will cover about 7.5m2 of fabric, and our 5-litre container will cover 50m2 of fabric. Just for reference, If you were to treat a standard 3-seater couch and you were to treat the whole couch, we would normally recommend a 2L big job pack with the battery sprayer for one coat. The coating should last 2-3 years depending on traffic. I look forward to your response and I am here to help so please don't hesitate. Thanks, Arlene

Hi Samantha. Thankyou for editing your review. I do apologise for the misunderstanding on how many treatments the bottle would have. If you were only applying one coat, then yes you would have 2 separate treatment times (3 years apart when you coat next) or it contains 2 treatments if 2 coats were needed at the same time. We normally recommend applying 100ml per m2 of fabric per coat and we would normally recommend applying a 2L container for one coat for a standard 3 seater couch. Your couch is a 4 seater so a little more product was needed. Your material was also needing 2 coats to create the beading effect so just over 4L's was needed to achieve this. I hope this explains things a little more and please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any more concerns. Thanks Rachel

Haven’t had a spill yet but on the test spill it seemed to work really well.
