I have a very anxious cat who pees on everything, so I needed to protect the stuff she has access to. It works well if I get to the pee spot within about 8 hours and there it is, waiting to be cleaned up. I then spray the area with a deterrent which may or may not work, and eventually give the area another spray of protect me. Bedspreads and cushions and the dog's various beds are the main items needing protection. When I wash the items, they have to be resprayed to be effectively protected.”

“I bought a brand new lounge in a champagne colour and new is need a good protectant because I have a dog.I didn’t want to use a spray like scotchguard because I’ve used it before and, besides the chemicals, it didn’t really do the job even after 2 coats.I spent quite a bit of time researching I came across Protect Me. This stuff is AMAZING and I only needed one coat. I did a test after 12 hours and the water beaded and came right off, honestly I wasn’t prepared for it to do that! I really wish I’d had some before I “waterproofed” all of my runners because this stuff is the real deal. I bought the big bottle and did a whole three seater lounge with about 1.5 litres.
