“This looked a lovely product and delivery and purchasing experience was excellent. However the product broke when we attempted to use it. The spindle broke and the handle came away. This was the third cast iron heritage handle we had used for this door, (tho the only one purchased from Restoration online), and all three cast iron handles broke at the spindle. So in the end we purchased a new practical handle from Bunnings and that is working fine.”

“Bought a house where the knocker had fallen off. Bought this knocker had locksmith put it on when replacing locks 3 weeks later knocker fell off. The screws do not hold the knocker on.”
“My ships bell is attached to a brick wall under cover of a porch, therefore it is never affected by rain. It is showing signs of pitting/black spots which detracts from it's appearance. I have not tried to remove these spots other than to wipe with a soft dry cloth. Can anyone advise me on how to remove these spots safely in order to preserve the shiny brass appearance.”
