“Good machine and holds onto the window well. I bought it mainly for the large patio door windows. Struggled to clean the dried on “dog snuffles” and I resorted to hand wiping that bit but generally the windows sparkle more now than they have ever done before!”
“This is my first robot window cleaner so I did not really know what to expect. It basically is a robot that wipes you windows down with a soft cloth. My windows are definitely clearer but any marks on the window that would normally require rubbing, still needs to be spot cleaned.
Having to attend to the robot every few minutes as it finishes each window is a pain if you are trying to do something else, but I figure I have to be nearby so I may as well do sills etc while the robot does its job. The spray is very fine. So the slightest breeze and it does not actually get to the window.
I have some external windows where the trim around the window is only slightly higher than the actual window itself. After the trim is a gap. Sometimes this causes Hobot to detect a air leakage which cause it to stop and ask for a reset. Once it caused Hobot to fall off the window. Lucky it did not fall far. I have worked out that if I put my dogs raised bed next to the wall, Hobot can't fall but I still get the error message so often it makes it not worth it. I suspect I will resort to cleaning these windows by hand. If all of my windows in my house were like this, the Hobot would be getting a one star.
As long as your windows suit Hobot, I would recommend it. I would check your windows before you buy however as there is no return policy based on you have changed your mind (or Hobot can't handle your windows)”
“Unpacked the 2S and put it straight to work. So easy to set up with no confusing instructions. This machine does an amazing job while you get other chores around the house done as well as coffee and lunch while your windows and mirrors are being cleaned. How good is that?

“Once unpacked and set up I put this machine to work. I’ve cleaned just over 60 M2 internal window glass and 2 large mirrors with outstanding results.
Due to wet and cold weather at present I only tried it on one glass balustrade panel with positive results. Really looking forward to the weather improving and I can put the HOBOT to work on the exterior glass. Great machine.”
“The HOBOT 2S is great. It saves me lot of time cleaning those windows, especially those hard to reach ones like those on the upstairs. However, there is one thing that the unit could improve on is the angle of the spraying jets. While the jets work fine on windless days, the detergent would have been sprayed into the air and blown away by the wind. It the sprayed angle were aimed to spray at a lower angle, they could have landed on the window surface much better. Overall, quite happy with the unit.”
