“I have a full Rugged Radio installed in my Can Am X3 and love it. Wanted a hand held for hunting when out side my Can Am and walking or scouting. The handheld option was perfect. The quality of the hand held is exceptional and the range is good. Battery life is excellent. Bought the extra battery so that I can use in my Can Am Defender Cab. Decided not to put the full Rugged Radio in this side by side which is used around the property and shorty commutes to town. Battery life seems excellent, but I don't use the raido except for quick conversations.”

“The battery gives an extra feeling of security with the additional battery life. It’s nice that the battery doesn’t add any real weight or size difference over the standard battery plus the usb charging ability is nice to have.”

“We have 3 radios, all with the XL batteries. We recently complected a 3 day/2-night SXS ride. We used the radios all day, turned them off at night and still had over 50% power at the end of the trip. We brought the USB charging ports but did not need to use them.”

“Drastically improves runtime, eliminating the need to pack multiple HT batteries when returning the HT to its docking station to recharge is not an option.”
