It seems to be working great, but haven't tried it since we fixed the upside down velcro strap. The boom had a tendency to fall down as we were riding in the desert (which was a rough ride). Don't know if that was because it was upside down on my head or not.

Had to send back in to fix it and they fixed it and returned it to me in a very quick way. I can not say enough of the staff there. Great place and great people.

Plastic locking boom mic in place is cheap and breaks easily. I am now replacing my second one. Replacing is not the easiest. Need to know how to solder or do other wire connectors. It is not an easy plug n play

Ken, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your experience with the locking boom mic and the challenges you’ve encountered with the replacement. While the mic boom is designed for durability, we understand that repeated issues can be frustrating. Replacement does require some technical knowledge, such as soldering, which may not be ideal for everyone. We appreciate your input and will share it with our product development team to explore ways to improve both the durability and ease of replacement. If you need assistance with the replacement process or have any questions, our tech support team is here to help. 888-541-7223

Our headsets have 18,000 miles on them without incident. The boom mic failed when a passenger removed the BTH utilizing the boom mic as a handle, this caused the boom to crack at its base. Very easy to install.
