“Product looks to be good quality. What comes with the kit is a little misleading. The video shows the cable that runs from the motor to the switch as being included. When I tries to purchase the cable, I was shipped the wrong cable.”

“Seemed to work great out first day out. Since then, we could tell the dust was getting into our helmets. At first we thought maybe it was getting under the helmet skirt. That wasn’t the problem. I pulled the filter off and looked inside the pump and there was dirt and dust inside of it, stuck to the sides and fins on the fan. Now, this was only after about 6-8 actual hours of riding. I still thought maybe there was something I was missing or needed to do. Turns out that after talking with several friends who have other types of air pumpers, they do nothing any different than I am, and that there’s an issue somewhere. Most likely filter isn’t sufficient. Haven’t reached out to Rugged yet. Plan on doing that when I have time. If this situation can be fixed, I would recommend the product. Our first ride with the pumper was amazing. We want that feeling again.”

“Such a wonderful system pair with my rugged radio bell helmet. It really blocks the dust. I have asthma and this system made it possible for me to be out in the desert with my family on trail rides in the rzr. Not to mention the wonderful customer service from the rugged employees. The went above and beyond for me to fix my radios after the loss of my fiancee. I really can't say thank you enough to the rugged radio team. But I highly reccomend everyone to buy rugged!!! They 100% will always have my business.”

“This is my first air pumper system. I was pretty excited to get it as I drive in very dusty environment once installed and was able to use it, I found that dust was still getting through the filtration system into my helmet. I noticed it on the top side of the fan blades and through the bottom into the hose up into my helmet, I install the unit per instructions with the pre-filter, so I was surprised that I was getting this much dust threw into the helmet. I called the tech-support line and spoke to a gentleman named Corey which explained me there are issues that they are aware of, and are trying to come out with a new filter design , he asked me to call back periodically to see if this filter has been released he would provide me with one at no charge. And I’m trying a few different things myself to see if I can prevent this from happening and have not had a chance to take it out for a test run yet. I will follow up if my idea helps in anyway. as far as the system goes, it’s made very well and I’m very pleased with the installation. Just disappointing that I’m getting dust through the system. Currently this beats the alternative of not having anything.”
