“The last few Ford Super Duty trucks have aluminum bodies. As such , attachment of magnetic warning lights for plowing, etc. and antennae for convoy communications has been difficult at best. Along came Rugged Radio's Uni-Mag plates. Problem solved !”

“Because of the UNI MAG Mounting plate I was able to mount the dual band antenna at the optimal position on my Jeep Gladiator. Most of the Gladiator’s surfaces are not magnetic so this additional mounting plate was needed for my particular needs. Although it was a little larger than I expected it fit perfectly at a corner on one of my freedom panels.and allowed me to increase the range of my R1 radio.This larger antenna definitely helped increase the range of my R1 radios.”
