“Had to make modifications so that my Rugged V3 radio wouldn’t vibrate and move around while attached to this bracket. Also, the paint doesn’t adhere to the bracket requiring it to be repainted.”

“Great, simple little product. Mounted to my motorhome dash in an existing spot where I already had screw holes from an old CB radio mic we never used. This is actually an updated version of one I bought previously, but never installed because when I went to install the old one, I realized it was a directional piece, and with the contours of my dash, it wouldn't end up the way I wanted (covering existing holes). So I thought to myself "I have to imagine Rugged has changed this by now, it seems so obvious to be able to put it either Left or Right hand orientation." Went to their website, and sure enough, now it is identical either way you put it. So I bought it again LOL. Oh well. At least procrastination of never installing the old design worked out such that the updated design came out and it's done right the first time.”

“Used this mount to allow me to easily add a handheld radio inside my side by side. This provided me with a second radio I could remove and take with me if needed. Perfect mount, excellent fit and finish and easy to install. Holds the radio securely but allows easy removal of the radio when needed.”

“Bought this with the plan of mounting in my RZR as a temp radio till I could afford an M1. The place I needed to mount it was horizontal above my 696 on the mounting face where the M1 will eventually live. This works for space but when you use this mount on the horizontal plane the radio moves around a lot. Something to think about if you’re attempting this in the future. The other issue I encountered is the provided hardware was for a plastic installation not for going into metal. I had to source self tapping screws that were short enough to fit between the U channel and they had to be tightened with a wrench because the holes on the face side were not large enough for a socket to fit into.”
