“The PL 259 needs to be removable to be able to get into tight spaces on side by sides. They make them, so use them.”

Indeed, we do offer replaceable PL-259 connectors but it is worth noting that they require precision when reinstalling. If they are not installed properly it will significantly compromise the performance of your radio.
