“Big performance in a compact package. Many of our ATV Club members are switching to Rugged Radio Lite-GMR25 radio with the stealth antenna. They have great range and clarity over our handheld radios. They perform perfectly for keeping contact with members on our ATV rides. Some of our rides are up to 30 UTVs and these radios are invaluable for sharing traffic information, locations of machines and important updates on all our rides. Whether it's a local ride through neighboring counties or on out if state rides in South Dakota or U.P. Michigan, we depend on a quality radio to keep us in contact. I am hoping that I can convince all of our members to switch to the Rugged Radio Lite-GMRS mobile Radio with the Stealth Antenna.”

“Great radio little in car radio setup! I am really happy with it so far. Buttons and knobs are really tactile and feel nice to hit/turn. The voice clarity is fantastic, both receiving and transmitting is super clear! Range is quite good, cannot imagine the range with a longer NMO antenna (will be my next purchase)! With that said, I have two qualms with this radio: 1) the handheld mic is quite light… lighter than I’d like and lighter than it looks, would be nicer if it had a bit more weight to it. 2) using this radio at night is annoying. With no adjustable backlight it’s way too bright in a dark car. Adjustable backlit screen would be a nice addition.”

“Three of us bought these for use on our side by sides to replace our hand held radios. After several calls to RR and researching them and the stealth antennas, the best range we can get is one mile flat ground line of site. In the hills, it’s much less. In a group ride, the leader often cannot talk to the tail. VERY DISSATISFIED with this package. Our hand held, lower powered units out range these 3-5 times the distance at a quarter of the cost.”
