“We got so fed up with buying the rubbish that is called bacon from supermarkets so decided to give this a go. No water or white stuff came out and it crisped up lovely. Reminded us both of when we were a lot younger. The bonus was using the small amount of fat left in the pan to spread on fresh bread - yum!”

“I ordered this to go with the Christmas turkey and alsthough it was a good tasting bacon, it was very wet out of the pack and shrank to less than half the size when cooked. Very disappointing - I can buy better in the supermarket.”

“I'm in two minds about this bacon. On the one hand it is tasty and the smoke is well judged. On the other, it is difficult to believe that this is proper dry-cured bacon. It throws off significant quantities of water and shrinks alarmingly in the pan.”

“First order from Salter and King. Liked the fact that they are Suffolk based - as an East Anglian stuck in London it felt like getting a bit closer to "home" We have had dry cure bacon from a number of suppliers and this is up there with the best of them. Very tasty and cooked really well. Delivery was prompt and well packaged. Will definitely be coming back!”
