“My first time order with Salter King - the website was clear and concise but informative, the birds looked and sounded great and the order process was simple. I received great communication from the moment of placing the order through to confirmation of despatch and the turkey arrived exactly as promised. In all my years of buying the turkey from local growers, I can honestly say that I have NEVER seen a better bird - beautifully presented, no bruises, no skin tears from careless plucking and a separate sealed bag with the giblets. When cooked, the bird was even better than I could have hoped for - beautiful firm flesh, moist and flavoursome. We dined like kings and there was more than enough to feed our family for several days. Can't thank the team at Salter Kind enough or recommend more highly and I will certainly buy from them again.”

“I was extremely happy with my purchase from Salter and King. Everything was communicated to us about delivery of the turkey and everything went according to plan. I found their website extremely easy to use and was extremely happy with the bird that was delivered it tasted absolutely fabulous. My only negative would be that it did not come with giblets or the offer of any sides. But would definitely purchase again purely based on how fantastic it tasted”

“Turkey was excellent and all the ancillary stuff too, chipolata sausages, bacon etc. Our boned lamb shoulder bought recently was very good too. We also appreciate all your cheeses, salamis and other delicatessen items and the fresh veg. The atmosphere in the shop is always great and very good service from Gerard and all the staff.
