The Wedo LX wick is one of Wedo's most popular wicks. It is a good wick to use with scented and coloured paraffin container candles, pillar candles and votives. The Wedo LX wick is a solid flat braided wick made from pure cotton with no core. Candle makers use the LX in paraffin wax blends, where the oil is very clean burning. This is a great wick to use with paraffin blends. When using the LX series wick you will find that it gives a reduced afterglow, soot and smoke. Its consistent flame helps prevent glass containers from overheating on one side and when using in a pillar candle it helps to stop any leakage from the side of the pillar candle. Our Wedo LX Series wicks are supplied pre-cut to 120mm long with a thin paraffin wax coating for stability and are fitted with a 15mm metal sustainer ready for you to place it into your candle container.

This size chart is a rough guide - you will find that using different waxes, fragrances and colours will affect the wicking of the candle. Trial and error is the only way to ensure correct wicking.
