“The Farming bricks were a huge hit with many of our Y1 students. We set up a challenge where volunteers formed groups of 3 to work together to construct a vehicle of their choice. Each participant had a different role and together they cooperated to work through the task.”

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them I made the milk tanker with Whaea, and I know it is Taraka miraka in maori. Liked working in the small groups with WhaeaI built the quad and got to do some of the tractor. I liked building with the lego especially when I got to do it myself. It was my best time of the day playing Bricks Farm.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? The resources in this kit are used several times a week in class. I have found bricks Farm has the tamariki motivated to still use the kit now (after having it for months), they work together and lots of great korero occurs.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? this kit was impactful as it helped to develop team building skills throughout my classroom. It introduced my students to a lot of new te reo words.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? i think my students will remember their learning with this kit because it was hands on and it was a lot of fun.
