The children built farms and came up with questions about their farm design to ask our real farmer, e.g. how far from the farm house is your chicken coop? The tamariki wondered about how many animals could be in one paddock and started to investigate this by asking our farmer and doing other research, e.g. will they run out of grass if there are too many animals in one paddock?

The kids loved the little items like fruits, veges and animals. The farmers were very popular too!
