Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them Tilly- I like making farms with the Lego. I like all the small fruit and vegetables and the animals.- Atalia- I made walls and fences for the animals. My farm has lots of parts.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The small animals and produce are the most popular because they can be put anywhere. The children like to put them in rows.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? The students go back to this kit everyday and choose to make something new and different to yesterday. This kit is great for fine motor dexterity, creativity and collaborative story telling using imagination.

“The kit activities were too challenging for my 5-year-olds, but they did enjoy watching their Year 5/6 buddy class put the sets together. They got more out of using the loose parts to make their creations than following someone else's plan.”

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The kids enjoyed the farm lego pieces.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? The children did have quite a good knowledge of farms but still enjoyed finding out about more about farms. Many of the children ha opportunity to use Lego bricks.

“The kids loved receiving the bricks, opening the box and building with the bricks. We did a lot of positional maths language and coding with the resources. When I was planning the unit I found it hard to navigate the schoolkit website to find good resources to support planning.”

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The bricks becuase they were the most tactile - and children talked as they built, shared and played, developing language and social skills.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? That much of their food has a big journey, from the farm to the table.
