What impact has the introduction of the action plan had on your classroom? Students are far more aware of each other’s cultures and learned a lot of information about stereotypes. I have heard students calling out other students for saying something that could be stereotype based.

This was a fantastic kit. Created really interesting discussions about stereotyping and racism. My class has 11 different ethnicities in it and it was great to learn about different beliefs and values. We learned that some of our students names were not being pronounced correctly and one of our first action plans was to change this. The kids made a massive effort with this and did a great job!

A great kit that helped our students understand the world around them in regards to acceptance. The activities were enjoyed by the kids. The discussions created more unity and acceptance of others opinions. There was a lot to cover so next time I would allow more time for more in depth learning in some areas.

Great resource kit, For my class, ideally would have been better to implement in the beginning of the year. It did help reinforce diversity ideals in the class.

What impact has the introduction of the action plan had on your classroom? We have been looking at the issues raised in the kit throughout the year, so it was a very good evaluation of what we have been learning about.
How did using this kit change the environment in your classroom? I modified a couple of the tasks, ie for the compliments task, I got the students to make an origami box then cut out a card for each pupil and wrote a compliment (what I like about this person). They then put it into the individual boxes. Each student th
A beautifully presented kit. The students loved the stereotype - pictionary game the best. We had a discussion before hand about the fact that what I was going to ask them to do was a bit unusual. Most of the students used alternative, friendly ways to show the stereotypes, which was pleasing to see.
