How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? Love the notebook that had a subtle way of informing the teacher of what was going on. Some great positive phrases.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? Students are open and honest and come to the teacher for a solution, not just whining about the problem. A more pro active approach with the kids taking on personal responsibility.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? They like the daily check in tokens and the charging station. It gave them control over what they could do with their feelings or problems and how they could deal with them in a positive way.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? The charging station was useful and the daily check in token. Students liked that the most, being able to tell me something indirectly and then we could chat about it at another time or they could decide to just leave it at that.
“It was a great kit but I think definitely suited more to the older students. The younger students I found did not engage as much with it and preferred to just play. Some of my more mature year 4 students did engage with it and seemed to get benefit from it. It did help build some relationships at the beginning of the year.”

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? We used the first part of the Resource - doing the "Finding"and started on the section section, "Apply", but didn't get very far.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? We didn't really get to this part of the unit unfortunately.
“The Content and Material were an excellent resource for building our students self esteem. The visual display was easy to display and created a focus are for students who needed some support. Unfortunately, with the 2 Lockdown periods this year, we didn't complete the unit i its entirety.”

It was motivating and engaging for students and helped build confidence to have their voices heard and issues addressed. We coupled the tools provided with our behaviour POOCH Model which works really well. Davida”
