How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? The children have learnt strategies to help them cope when things don't go their way and have acknolwedged their support network around them.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? It has become very visual and given the children a way to communicate their feelings to me without having to approach me in front of the class, opening it up for me to come to them when the time is right.
“My children were really engaged with this kit. Loved how interactive the wall display was and generated lots of discussion around feelings and linked well to our school value of resilience. The children enjoyed sharing their emotions each day and became more in tune with one another's feelings, building a culture of understanding.”

“Students were engaged with this unit and timely with COVID etc. Very valid for this age group as they need to self regulate and some good strategies were provided. Great that they can recognise these and then deal with them and recognise others and be of support to them.”

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? The journals have been great to allow them to reflect on their emotions and feelings. Its helped them be more aware about how/why they are feeling the way they are.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? Have tied in the kit with work the RTLB is doing with the students on FRIENDS resilience. Has worked perfectly with us esp. post covid. The token system is great for me to see how they are coping on any given day without me having to ask.
“Tied in perfectly with what the children needed around anxiety post covid-19 lockdown. Haven't yet finished using the kit as we realised it fitted perfectly with what the children are working on at the moment with the RTLB on resilience so will keep on using it with the children. The children have loved the journals and checking in using the tokens on how they are feeling.”

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? The individual booklets really encouraged the students to think about their feeling and how to cope with them. The coping strategies suggested were helpful and practical.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? I don't think I gave this part of the kit as much focus. Covid 19 interrupted the flow and other curriculum subjects needed extra time when we got back.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? Tuning into and describing their own feelings has been great.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? The check in tokens allow a quick (or deeper) catch up and allow me to see who might need a little boost. And also who I can call on to give others a boost.
“Great kit with a good range of activities for where the students are on their resilience journey. Individual Booklet for each student was a hit - they loved something printed and special and just for them to work through together and to read and the hints and tips about re-charging were great - as we could refer back to them and talk about them in our daily language. Tuning in and describing feelings and why also vey important for my year 7's as they head to leadership positions next year (and in some cases maybe not getting their first choice) Things in and out of their control was a great task - and we did this on over lock down and presented Virtually about it at one of our online assemblies. Great Kit! Thanks”

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? I've used it to integrate with other aspects of the classroom programme, as well as with other adults in the staff.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? It has allowed the children to be more forthcoming about their feelings and starting to use more strategies to solve them.
“I've used the programme for boys in me class who are lacking a bit of maturity and it has been useful to help them think about themselves and how they look at others.”

How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? Great to be able to see what areas the kids needed more help and focus on.
“While the kit was awesome and the kids were enjoying it the Covid-19 lockdown meant that by the time we returned to school it was too late to continue to work through with the kids. A fantastic resource and we are gutted that we didn't get to complete the whole programme. Therefore I found it hard to review completely.”
