In what ways has this kit improved student awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? There was not so much as I didn't buy veges for them to taste and few were ready by the holidays when the students took them home. However an earlier Enviroschool project saw the children grow their own microgreens which they harvested and ate at school.

How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? There were vegetables and herbs that the children hadn't heard of before. As they grew, and as the students researched their plants, lots of knowledge was discussed and learned.

I have a range of vegetables growing in the school garden as well, we did a scavenger hunt to look for a range plants as well. great opportunity to see and try a range of vegetables, many of which a lot of the students have never tried before.

Definitely and students wanted to replant in home gardens some of the seedlings and get parents involved in healthy choices. As mentioned it was so good that New World's promotion was taking place at the same time!

As a school we get School lunches so one week we looked at the seeds we were growing and the veggies/salad ingredients in the lunches. What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? We competed some art activities around our plants and photosynthesis. We using it for writing activities explaining what plants need to survive. This lead to Virtual Adventure (Fitbits and healthy eating to fuel our bodies)
