Making vegetable soup (from store-bought veggies!) and all being prepared to sample it and give their opinion. Definitely a lot more fresh veggie snacks in their lunchboxes. Several children have gone on to be more involved in their family veggie gardens.
How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables?
The children sorted, and identified plastic vegetables and named them in their own languages. They told us how they like to eat them at home and if they were raw or cooked. General veggie knowledge was quite good, but all children learnt new veggie names
