We loved taking part in the Little garden league, my learners were so engaged and motivated. It was the perfect balance of learning and fun, it tied is so nicely to our science learning and was easy to incorporate all other curriculum areas. I would highly recommend to others and will definitely do again.

How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? Great - we have had some great discussions around the different vegetables. Colours, shapes and tastes
A popular kit as always. The tamariki love to plant the seeds and were most excited to watch the soil tablets 'grow' when we added water to them. This was one of the most exciting and most talked about parts! It was lovely to have some children take on the watering role, our nurturers were always most concerned after the weekend that their plant babies were still thriving!

Thanks so much for this little kit. The students were engaged and keen to take them home after they had started growing. Some were planted up into bigger pots and then transplanted out into the class garden. We kept them inside a little green house inside the classroom which made it easier for them to water. This is a great project to build responsibility and kaitakitanga.

A wonderful kit filled with great resources. The children were so excited when we opened it and began the process of planting our seeds. Most of the children had a good knowledge of the more common vegetables but it was a good opportunity to introduce them to new types of vegetables and to incorporate the healthy eating theme into the discussion. We cared for our plants and excitement grew as they began to grow. We were later planting them, the holidays were upon us so the children took one home each to continue growing them.
