We drew seeds (art), labelled parts, inferred what might happen and what the vege might look like, talked about what makes a thing living and what would happen if one of those things were missing, we covered health and cultural cooking.

Some of my children already knew most of the vegetables and were able to share how their families used those veges in their meals.
