What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? I used the Little garden kit as part of our Market Day inquiry where students had to create a business that would sell products at our school market day.

In what ways has this kit improved student awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? Growing food gave students a new and improved attitude towards the food that they eat.
How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? This kit introduced students to a variety of new vegetables that they had never seen before. The Vege ID card game is still a big hit in our learning space. the students are now able to educate their peers on the name of the different vegetables.
This is an amazing resource to share with a class of junior/mid students. If this resource is going to be made available again in the future it would be helpful to have it sent out closer to the beginning of the term so that we have more time to grow and perhaps extend on our learning. Our seedlings were still very small by the time the term had ended and leaving them over the term break is not an option.

How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? While some kids could name most if not all of the vegetables and herbs, a large number of kids could identify very few. At the end of the unit when we reviewed all the vegetables we knew there was a big improvement for these kids.
Another amazing unit based on gardening. I have done this kit with my kids previously and it was really worthwhile again, I even had kids talk about how their siblings spoke about doing the unit at home!
