How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? Huge getting to students to identify the seeds they had by finding it on the poster was great. I think that using characters gave the learning more impact.
The students loved learning about the lifecycles of plants, planting their seeds and then learning about the different stages of growth. Learning that was generated from the kit was amazing once the seeds had sprouted we planted them in the school gardens. Students have been able to share the process with other students in the school and have now taken more responsibility for out school gardens, It was a real hit and the badges just topped off the whole learning.
