In what ways has this kit improved student awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? This will be more apparent once the vegetables have grown but we have noticed some children are bring carrot sticks and cut up cucumber to school for their snacks and are proudly showing these off to their teachers and classmates.

How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? It's still early days but so far we have seen an improvement in the children's abilities to identify an increased number of vegetables

“We have started germinating our seeds and the children and whanau are busy preparing the gardens. Our 2 junior classes are learning about looking after our world and by growing our own vegetables they feel they are contributing. The boxes are fantastic and have a huge variety of vegetables in it for them. Thank you.”

“Really a fantastic school kit where the children are able to see vegetables germinating and growing and gaining an understanding of where our vegetables come from. Feedback from parents has been that their has been a significant interest in the vegetable department at home.”
