The students were encouraged to include more veges (and fruit) into their lunchboxes each day. We introduced an additional 'read & feed' time where they were just to eat fruit & veges out of their lunchboxes.
How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables?
Overall, my students had a good knowledge of vegetables - what they look like and how they grow. We are a high decile school and many families have a range of vegetables with their dinners, and also have vege gardens at home or at grandparent's houses.
