Have used the little gardens kit in the past. I missed the little display stand this year as it was such a great way to group the little planters. The children still enjoyed the little tasks set for them. We have tried several.new foods. We also stepped out and wrote back stories for some of our favorite vege characters.

This kit was amazing. The children really enjoyed the secret code and the badges. The Little Garden seeds were very popular and we used these for our measurement inquiry. They liked looking after their planted seeds/plants by watering, giving them warmth and light.

Fantastic resource to get kids hooked on gardening! They loved that they were apart of a secret club and got to wear a badge. Code crackers were a great resource to use as independent activities at reading time. The seedling kits had a good range of seed types.

The Little Garnden kit was the perfect fit for our Inquiry on plants and wellbeing. Students loved growing their plants and their understanding of "growing plants" and how they can make us healthy and happy was certainly enhanced by your schoolkit. Thank you.

It was hands on for the kids and engaging. They were excited to see how their seedlings were coming along and it made them think more about the food their families buy from the supermarkets and what they can grow at home. Really worthwhile and in depth conversationd and observations.

In what ways has this kit improved student awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? We had an assembly with some current Warriors players about health and nutrition - children were proud to show off some of their new knowledge that went alongside what the assembly was promoting.
How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? Many children had very little knowledge about vegetables that weren't in the common few. They were interested in learning about what they were growing and enjoyed tasting some of the vegetables they hadn't previously heard of.
The children were so excited to receive a parcel and we had some very in-depth discussions about what it could be. When they saw what it was they were eager to share about whanau who had engaged with Little Garden previously. The learning that went along with growing the seeds was tailored to their level and matched perfectly with the follow up activities. Children got so much out of the journey, it was so engaging and worthwhile.
