So much fun, kids were really engaged in wanting to learn more about how plants grew and how long it took for different varieties of plants to grow. They were encouraged to join in on lessons and gained a lot of knowledge on how to take care of plants. Each plant was named with the seed name as well as their name to encourage them to look after them. They used this as a challenge to see which one grew the fastest

Our children have really enjoyed this pack. It fits well with our 'food of the week' science-based activities and we have been able to use it across curricular areas. We have had children go home enthusiastic about their plants and parents have supported them to create a wee vege garden.

My students were super engaged in with this kit. The resources provided relevant real learning for my tamariki. They were so proud of their badges and a few of my students came to school telling us that their siblings had also been little garden league members in the past. We found out that the majority of the class had gardens at home or at their grandparents homes. We extended the unit by incorporating why bees are important for our environment. Thank you School Kit and New World for this fantastic resource once again.
