How has this kit motivated you to explore the history or your local area? Could you use this model? The kit has definitely motivated me to investigate the history of my local area. After completing the kit we planned a trip to The Elms in Tauranga.

How has this kit motivated you to explore the history or your local area? Could you use this model? I liked the way it could be used as a directed approach initially but as the students confidence grew they were able to take the lead and direct their own learning.

As I am starting at a brand new school next year this is definitely something that we have done in preparing for next year. It is so important to understand the place that we are standing and the significance that it holds to the local area and its people

“I really enjoyed this School Kit however I moved schools and did not get to complete this. My team teacher did though. We loved the interactive nature of the kids and the variety of things that the students could explore.”
