This kit has given me a solid foundation for understanding how to bring the stories of local iwi and hapu to our classrooms and curriculum in an engaging way that piques the children's interest and attention to further inquiry and discovery of our Aotearo

How has this kit motivated you to explore the history or your local area? Could you use this model? Yes potentially can use this model, however the challenge is to find the local history as the information and people who have the knowledge is very sparse.

“the range of resources that were available in this kit were amazing. The tamariki were fully engaged with the range of activities that were on offer. It was a pity that time constraints impacted on exploring this kit as fully as I would have liked. I will definetly be using this kit again next year with the tamariki.”
