How has this kit motivated you to explore the history or your local area? Could you use this model? Yes - our local Iwi has provided resources for certain areas of our area with photos so this leads on well

How did the activity help students make connections between circuit theory and real-world applications? Students could navigate the resources well. From our exploration we created a museum focusing on some areas we had highlighted close to us. Lots of interest in Chin Ting

“I loved all of the visual pictures that were included in the kit. The online research component was very good for some links but some were a bit difficult to follow and were perhaps a bit to complex for my learners.”

“The Tamariki were very engaged with the material? They showed interest and asked questions? The activities and resources were well thought out and the children enjoyed the learning activities especially the pictures. They also wanted to look at other videos on the website something happened here.”

“This was a fab kit for our Year 8s - great potential to be used for mini projects or greater ones. Did need a lot of teacher support with some of the research. Great way to learn about our varied and rich national stories.”
