How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? It has been the main focus after lockdown - has built up a wonderful, caring community. We have all learn to 'be kind' - as the prime minister says.

“This was the most perfect kit to use after our return from Lockdown. It gave us all (students and teachers) a focus for working together in a respectful way as a team. The students loved the stories and traffic light. They especially loved the Playground sticker sheets and booklets. They were very keen to do this day after day. We also used the dice as part of our literacy programme - and are still using them on going. Thank you for such a versatile kit. Lots of parts that we could use and adapt.”

There were lots of positive things happening when we started the kit but once we finished the hands on part of the kit, there was a drop pff in the behaviou

Coming back after lockdown it was very important to reestablish connections and relationships after so long away and such little contact with others outside their own family. It enabled children to look beyond themselves to some degree and to think about

I think that our students understand that respectful relationship allow students to have their own identities and interests. They can articulate that it is important that they recognise when others might need company and how they can help others.

“My school already has school values which we base our positive interactions with others on. This confused my 5 year olds as it was another 'system' to learn as well as settling back into school after lockdown. I was given some useful ideas for discussion points from this kit but the actual resources were not valuable.”

We are currently working hard on well being, mindfulness and managing oneself in a certain environment. This helped the learners understand that they need to listen and respect other peoples opinions even though you do not always agree with them.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? The components in the kit has had a huge influence on my classroom environment. It has really brought everyone together and made a great friendly classroom.
