How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? I think the hit was the Playlunch Project. My class know all the right answers about being friends, but that often doesn’t follow them into play or conflict resolution. Having to exchange stickers and try to collect stickers from people they wouldn’t norm
The kit was full of beautifully presented resources and supported by great resources on the website. It was so helpful to have things like video clips all ready to go and were very well chosen and appropriate.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? Children are developing strong and positive interactions especially in their play. They are more aware of their interactions with each other, focussed on clear expectations , respecting others spaces, speaking kindly to each other etc.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? - Components were great - just not as easy to deliver when we were mostlty working with families one on one with Google meets over covid.
Great kit to use after Covid. It allowed the children to see how other children need space to recharge. I did think that the kit did lack a teacher information like previous kits.

The best part for this was the children who realised that there were other children who were experiencing similar things that they could go and talk to when they needed someone around who knew what they were talking about. I personally found this kit really hard to understand. The ideas where there but deciphering what to do and how to do it was difficult and took up way too much of my time. I spoke to others and they found this to be the case too. My class loved the playlunch project and stickers- we enjoyed making sure our battery was fully charged and some children used the charging station.

The kit was very well put together and we are planning to implement it fully in our Term 3 learning. The term 2 after Covid 19 put us in a predicament where we had focused on Wellbeing and routines after all we had a big break. We found that our year 2 students needed a great deal of support.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? They know what is respectful person and how to interact more positively with others.
I loved this kit it was exactly what we needed as we returned back to class post covid-19 lockdown. at blends perfectly with our pb4l zones of regulation mahi that exists already it's just another way to further strengthen this and support our learners with harmonious relationships and self-regulation.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? Many components were ";over their heads";. In reflection, it was tricky timing with the kit arriving just before COVID lockdown - our class transitioned to school over lockdown. I think the ";battery pack"; was a great visual that kids could link to.
My Year One class loved this kit - they particularly enjoyed the battery and could really relate to the idea of charging their batteries. It was lovely to see the children interacting more with one another and taking the time to get to know other children outside of their particular friend group (in year one often kindy buddies stick together, particularly after lockdown I noticed they were sticking with known friends) and we really developed the idea of a class community which was great.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? Students were able to explore the facets that constitute a positive, healthy and respectful relationships. We covered filling people’s buckets, social relationships and linked it into Life Education
Such a great resource especially after coming back from lockdown. The children loved thinking of new ways to charge their batteries and enjoyed swapping stickers while some even made connections with children they wouldn’t have previously. Thank jack you for such a wonderful resource.

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? It encouraged children to widen their usual circle of social interactions, allowing them to view things from another child's perspective. Lovely to watch!
How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? The tamariki have been more aware of others and their feelings. Also acknowledging the feelings we have/had post lockdown. Helped them understand this was ok to have all of these different feelings.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? Exploring the different types of relationships and how they look.
Coming back to school after Home Learning during Lockdown was the perfect time for this kit. It helped us to re-establish kind friendships and get to know some of classmates that we didn't usually play with. The website was helpful in providing further resources and an idea of how to structure or order the different elements.
