“This kit has really helped to foster respectful relationships in my classroom and many new friendships have blossomed. I was worried my year ones wouldn't be spending our agreed about time with their peers in order to swap the stickers but they have been! I think the story of Tim, Sefo and Ava really opened their eyes to how we can think about other peoples feelings, and they spent a lot of time looking through the accompanying picture seeing who has full batteries and who has empty batteries and why. We are still working through the kit but it has been very successful so far.”

“I have thoroughly enjoyed using this kit this term, especially in term 4 as I noticed that many friendship issues were occurring. My students really liked gaining stickers from other classmates and having the opportunity to play with someone they had not before. The battery has worked absolute wonders, it has become out reward system in our class! I would love to continue with this kit moving forward to develop relationships in term 1 next year. We continue to use this kit and activities :)”

“I really liked the question cards, and I used them at the end of the day as a part of reflection time. I am a teacher in a new entrant classroom, and my 5 year olds really enjoyed picking a card and answering questions. I think it really made them think and come up with some great and creative answers. It also made me notice who was not so sure about understanding the questions and that also indicated their level oral language. I liked using the Battery and getting children to place to tokens so that I knew who might not be fully charged or charged and whom I need to check in during the day. We also talked about what we could do if we are not fully charged and sometimes it is ok if we are not charged .”
