There was a specific student we wanted to use this for, although not completely respectful he is beginning to discuss how things he says or does might upset others and make them feel sad

“Thank you for a great kit. My class loved moving their magets on the battery and helping each other move to green. The playlunch project was a huge success with building new friendships. It really came into it's own when when my NE starters had lots of different children making an extra special effort ot include them each visit.”

Tamariki really liked exploring new lunchtime friendships, the class especially saw one student in a much better light as he was often trying to get peers attention inappropriately. Incidents still happened, but less frequently.

“Really enjoyed this kit. The topics were timely at the end of the year when everyone is tired. My class liked the recharge battery and enjoyed filling it up. Would use again :)”

“I really liked the question cards, and I used them at the end of the day as a part of reflection time. I am a teacher in a new entrant classroom, and my 5 year olds really enjoyed picking a card and answering questions. I think it really made them think and come up with some great and creative answers. It also made me notice who was not so sure about understanding the questions and that also indicated their level oral language. I liked using the Battery and getting children to place to tokens so that I knew who might not be fully charged or charged and whom I need to check in during the day. We also talked about what we could do if we are not fully charged and sometimes it is ok if we are not charged .”
