It has allowed the tamariki to build closer relationships with each faster. They are looking out for each other in the playground and connecting more in class.
When completing Investigations, they are turn taking and listening to each other.

It has been great when tamariki have been in and out of the class due to isolation. They have felt welcomed back and less afraid to return as everyone has connected so well.

We were able to learn about respect, how people feel, and how to show these things to others inside and outside of the classroom. The tamariki were able to identify how they were feeling in different situations and how to take this out to the playground.
