The kit was a great kit, and there are so many tools for us to put into our tool boxes to help us with our social and emotional regulation, however the greatest challenge for us was having to revisit so many aspects due to extended absences (Omicron and isolation).

How relevant has this kit been with maintaining/establishing/reestablishing classroom relationships during Covid? It has been very useful and the kit is well put to gether with the different elements.
The 'Respectful Relationships' kit was a great starter to the school year. The kit helped my students learn how to articulate their feelings right throughout the day and gave them opportunities to identify what to do when they might be feeling a strong emotion and their batteries are low. I enjoyed watching my children build empathy and strengthen their relationships with their peers through the Playlunch project. I will definitely be using this for years to come.

This has been super impactful in my class. It has given a purpose for children to play with new classmates and establish relationships. They learnt to ask others to play. I have loved having this in my class and will forever use a system like the play lunch sticker charts every year. :)

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? Students are now comfortable interacting with anyone in the class, are better able to appreciate others POV and most are more flexible in the roles they are comfortable taking on in the classroom.

How has this kit influenced your classroom community? Students are increasing demonstrating that they are able to negotiate and compromise with each other. I have also seen a decrease in the amount of after playtime restorative conversations needed.
How have the components of Respectul Relationships helped develop your student's understanding of what a respectful relationship is? Low attendance has made this kits impacts more acutely felt. With members of friendship groups away we have still maintained a feeling of belonging within the class - particularly out in the playground where some of my students struggle.

Tamariki are displaying the school values more consistently and that they are able to relate to a wide range of people.
Awesome resources catering for amazing discussion with children - love how it isn't completely text based, so caters for all levels of learner.

We absolutely loved using this kit! It was a great way to develop a positive classroom culture at the beginning of the year and foster new relationships between chidlren.

Unfortunately we didn't get the chance to do all of the activities. As we are a large collaborative group we found that there also wasn't enough resources eg the playground sticker charts. The stories were fantastic though and led to great conversations. The products in the pack are of a good quality and would be engaging for younger students.

I think we can do more to talk about this in the rest of the term, but they understand that we can be respectful and kind to everyone not just our best friends. We can be interested in learning about everyone in class.
The tangible resources were great for my kids to understand and see it for themselves.
