How has this kit influenced your classroom community? I liked how the kit focused on things in the playground as often we are successful in class but children need help to navigate these ideas and self manage when out side playing.

How have the components of Respectul Relationships helped develop your student's understanding of what a respectful relationship is? This was the tricky part - with a revolving door of children coming and going over this time .

Tricky to use at times but helpful as a reminder to keep and continue being respectful and supportive but at a distance and being mindful of how others may feel and act

How has this kit influenced your classroom community? It has definitely helped us refocus on working together in a year that has been particularly hard and unsettled.

Usually we have a huge focus on classroom culture and setting up good routines at the beginning of the year. Due to student absence this was particularly hard in 2022. In Term 1 we never had the whole class at school so the students didn't get a consiste

How has this kit influenced your classroom community? There was a good buzz in my room around the filling up sticker books and connected who the missing colours belong to. Resulting in students setting up little play dates at lunch.

How have the components of Respectul Relationships helped develop your student's understanding of what a respectful relationship is? Very as may students in my room had missed their time as new entrants due to Covid. The kit has helped get my class to interact with each other more than usual.

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? Children became more aware of the impact emotions have on their learning and how important it is to read others' emotions by looking at their body language. This fitted really well with Zones of Regulation.

How has this kit influenced your classroom community? Children formed new relationships within the classroom. They found common interests. Boys and girls started playing and learning together.

There were no interuptions during this term but many children had long absences. They were eager to come back to school and complete their 'Playlunch Project' booklets.
