1) I liked finding all the rubbish! 2) Lots of things I found people had put there. It could go into the stream.

The ability to sort the rubbish and record what it was. The ease of using the kit was really helpful for us.

How has this kit impacted your class culture toward whenua ora (land wellness) and sustainability?
They are understanding they are kaitiaki and keen to clean up all the rubbsih at school as they can see how it can affect others and sustainability. I think sticking the rubbish on the pictures of animals really helped them understand

Our rubbish can go into the river and sea

What was the most interesting piece of rubbish found and why?
An old picnic table deep in the bush, it made the students wonder how it got there. A large metal pole that took 5 children to move as they wondered who would put it there.
