Love this so much it's now a staple. I've completely converted from disliking most canned fish to enjoying it - frequently

Also used very successfully as a starter with toast and lettuce ( see my review of Hake and Seaweed)

Gorgeous depth of flavours to be savoured and enjoyed. I added lemon rice, soft boiled eggs, chopped spring onions and sourdough to mop in the last few morsels. Love this product.

The capers bring a great twang to the sweet Hake. Best buy British

Tin impossible to open fully and efforts to do so risk cuts to fingers. Product quite pleasant but portion size is miniscule. Needed both tins to provide a very light lunch for two making said lunch extremely expensive (£9 per tin after multi buy discount). Not good value at all.

Tin not the easiest to open fully. Fish had a delicate, salty flavour. Capers very mild.

We finally opened this yesterday for lunch with dome sourdough bread, cheese and tomatoes. The fish was lovely, very soft and flavourful. We dipped the bread in the oil, which was not too fishy. I used the rest of the oil to fry ham potato cakes for dinner. No waste. The packaging is so pretty. V We are very pleased with our first tin.
