It's fine, does the job. Getting the blue plastic off it is fiddly sometimes, and the edges can be sharp, I got a lot of "papercuts" before I started being careful enough with it. It has been in place for a few months now and is generally staying secure, the odd piece has needed pushing back to the window frame.

I covered a large single glazed Victorian bay of sash windows. It has made a big difference to the temperature of the room; it has become a pleasant place to work! I wish I had opted for the wider magnetic tape though for more strength (I have had to use clips as well to hold the large 4mm polycarbonate sheets in place). A small amount of condensation still sometimes forms on some mornings but not anything to worry about. The service was excellent.

Fairly easy to use, although the metal strip is awfully sharp, it's easy to put little slices in your fingers! The first time I used it led to a lot of little paper-cut style stings. Next time round forewarned was forearmed so my tip to you is not to press the adhesive strips flat onto the window frames with your thumb - grab a little block of wood, or use a tool handle. The blue tape on the back is a right bugger to get off, it's so thin and fiddly. I generally needed to put my reading glasses on and pickle it off with a sharp-pointed screw. For some reason, the the magnet strip and metal strip, although sold in matching packs of the same length, seem to be mismatched by a meter or two, so one tended to run out before the other. I'm hoping that the mistake was in my favour, life's too short to go back and measure them to find out!

We chose polycarbonate glazing with Magnetglaze to reduce external noise from old single glazed sash windows, this has made a huge difference by muffling any external noise.
