“I am satisfied with the result of putting this secondary glazing up, but I encountered some problems along the way. Chief among them was that even though the sheets I put up were well within the size guidelines for the standard width magnetic strips, the glazing slips down one of the three windows I put it on. I had to put small pins under the bottom frame to keep it from slipping down (which luckily I could do as the window is in a wooden frame). Also the video showing how to mount the glazing is very sketchy and misses out some steps. A different video to which a link is also provided gives a different technique in more detail, but the backing on the metal (non-magnetic) strip cannot easily be removed as the video suggests. By the time I had done 3 windows I had developed a technique which worked well, but it was by trial and error. Also, applying the frame is not covered in the instructions. A good, complete instructional video, including warnings about how sharp the edges of the strips are when cut, would be extremely helpful.”

“This product was easy to fit and cut down the noise from the road considerably. My front room already had double-glazing but noise still came in, much quieter now. Very good instructions. Also it doesn't show - mounted on a white PVC window it is nearly invisible. Recommended for the purpose.”

“Very good product that has definitely reduced draughts and heat loss through some very old, wonky windows! I would go for the wider magnetic tape where you can as the wind still knocks the sheet slightly out of place in the gales . I was limited by the structure of mine so I have to re-adjust after strong winds but all in all, works well.....”
