“Our use case might be a bit different. Occasionally we’ll use it with shoes too, but the purpose for us is mostly gloves.
Motorcycling and cycling gloves, where in many cases all the cleaning instructions starts with “do not”. Yes, even do not wash. :-)
So we decided to give ozone a chance. I did not expect 100% after just one treatment, but I can confirm it’s working. The glove doesn’t make my skin itch anymore, the smell decreased a lot (you have to literally stick your nose into it to feel traces of it), and also the glove is still in one piece!”

I also like your idea of putting socks over the holders when the device is not in use. Just so you know, it's absolutely no problem to wipe the holders with a cloth every now and then if they get dusty. In addition, the holders clean themselves during every cleaning cycle, so there's no need to worry about hygiene.
Thanks as well for your suggestion about plastic covers. We always appreciate ideas from users and will certainly take it into consideration.

“It's not miracle machine - I washed my sneakers before starting to use it and I've been using it every time after wearing my sneakers. So far, it hasn't gotten rid of the odor completely, BUT! the smell definitely got better and it seems that the level of odor does not increase as long as I continue to dry my shoes every time after wearing.
So, all in all I do recommend it just don't expect a miracle when used with already old shoes. I'm also curious to see what it does when used with brand new shoes.”
