“Very happy with this. However it would be even better if there was an indication of which of the various stages the charger is in. Also it is not clear how the unit adapts to flooded out AGM, or whether that is even necessary.”
“The charger is compact and looks to be well made. I have 2 cars both of which are used for short runs in the winter months when the lights, window heater and heater are all in use draining the batteries to the point where there isn't enough power to start the cars, even with new batteries. One car is a small car (Peugeot 107) the other is a bigger car (Nissan Xtrail 2.5 Sport). I connected the charger to my bigger car, pressed the button once to select 12V car and left it to get on with the job and the following morning the charger showed "Fully Charged", did the same for the smaller car with the same result. I did that about a month ago and now the cars both start with no problems. The charger does what it says on the box at a reasonable price.”

If I had one criticism, it would be that after charging it just displays full, as there is no indication to say if it has reverted into maintenance or any other mode.

“Great little unit (Smartcharge 908) which you just plug and play. Charged and managed my wifes car battery rwaaly well. Car only used occasionally but now always ready to fire up. Really helpful technical team who responded really quickly to a question I needed answering. Would recommend this product and company.”
“Easy to use and a clear display on the unit. Self expanitary although it needed scrolling through to find the appropriate setting. So far it's keeping the battery charged ok. Leads and croc clips are good quality. Instruction sheet is pictorial only and easy to understand. Very good for the price. Recommended.”
